How to Jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 with Pangu (Windows) tutorial

  • Step 1 – before start upgrade to latest firmware using  iTunes. (iOS 7.1.1)

  • Step 2 – Backup device using iTunes.
  • Step 3 – Download pangu jailbreak tool
  • Step 4 – Right click on the Pangu executable file and select “run as administrator” to launch the application
  • Step 5 – Connect iDevice to pc via USB cable
  • Step 6 – Unchecked the box towards the left of the window. The meaning of this box is will you need a Chinese piracy app store installed or not (for the best security & legal purposes uncheck this box)
  • Step 7 – Now you have to Click the only ,black large button to the upper right of the screen and Pangu will begin your jailbreak
  • Step 8 -Popup window will asking you adjust your date back in time. Tap Settings on your Springboard then choose the General menu- Select Date & Time from the General menu then tap the Set Automatically switch to turn it to the OFF position.Now set the date back to June 2nd, 2014
  • Step 9 – “Pangu” icon will appear on your Springboard. Tap the icon and then press Continue to confirm the launch of the application.
  • Step 10 – Keep the device connected and do not close the app while continue with pangu
  • Step 11 -Once complete your i device will reboot and you will see Cydia on your desktop.
